Essential Box - Venetian Weave & Regimental - BAROLO RED
Men's knee-high socks in Filo di Scozia, Oeko-Tex® certified extra-long staple Egyptian Makò cotton. Soft, lightweight, and durable. The natural fiber is thermoregulating: it keeps the foot cool and dry throughout the day, reducing the formation of odors.
The Regimental pattern is composed of 45° diagonal stripes, with precise spacing and color combinations. It originated in the 19th-century British Army, where each regiment had its own distinctive stripes as a sign of belonging. It is created with jacquard knitting, woven directly into the fabric.
The Venetian Weave is an exclusive Barocco Italiano pattern, created with a double jacquard knitting process. The woven surface creates a three-dimensional effect that changes with the light and is distinguished by its complex construction.

Designed to stand out from everything else.
A sock is rarely noticed. When it's wrong, however, it's immediately apparent: it slips down the ankle, loses its shape, and betrays an outfit designed down to the smallest detail.
Barocco Italiano was created for those who do not accept this compromise. We use Makò cotton Filo di Scozia, a long-staple fiber that is smooth and durable, chosen for its natural luster and how it performs throughout the day. The English cuff keeps the sock in place without constricting, from morning to night.
Behind every pair lies three generations of artisanal experience. It is knowledge that cannot be improvised and that you recognize by touch even before you see it.
It is not an accessory. It is the part of elegance that allows for no distractions.

Carefully designed
Every garment receives the attention to detail we have loved providing for 35 years.
Textures, patterns, and colors are chosen with the man who will wear them in mind.

Extra-long staple fiber
Barocco Italiano socks are a sartorial luxury because they are made with fine materials. Silky to the touch, light and fine, yet at the same time durable because we only use the highest quality extra-long staple cottons.

French cuff
Like a calf massage that never ends.
The sock stays up, without constricting.
Pure comfort for your entire day.

seam
The toe is hand-stitched, with no ridges and no irritation.
It has always been made this way, to remain imperceptible and provide maximum durability.

Thermoregulating
The foot does not sweat in summer and does not get cold in winter.
It is the Makò Cotton in Filo di Scozia that adapts and works for you, at every moment.

Rarely been so impressed
I gave this gift set to my partner and I was truly, truly struck by the care put into every detail. It has happened very few times with a gift: the presentation, the finishes, the way everything is arranged… You can feel that nothing is left to chance. I was almost as moved as he was when opening it.

Let me tell you about my experience: I'm often away from home or out of town for several hours a day.
I usually kept spare socks in my briefcase because they would either get soaked with sweat or lose their elasticity, forcing me to change them halfway through the day because they would slip down to my ankles.
I bought two pairs of these as a "test."
I put them on at 6:30 in the morning, and by 7:00 in the evening, they were still perfect and in place. I bought them in every color available on the site. Keep it up!

I worked for 35 years in a textile factory in the Novara area, so I can safely say I've seen a few fabrics and yarns in my life.
This is genuine lisle thread! Seeing is believing!

I have somewhat eclectic taste in clothing, but I suffer from skin irritation if the material isn't high quality.
I discovered Barocco Italiano; before buying, they answered everything I had to ask, so I trusted them.
They solved 2 problems for me: the socks are fantastic and even after hours I have no skin issues... and then there is an embarrassment of riches to choose from!

Lisle thread
Egyptian Mako cotton grows along the Nile, in a strip of land where the climate, soil, and water produce something the rest of the world cannot replicate: the most prized cotton fiber in existence.
Mako cotton fiber is extra-long, which means it is silkier to the touch and feels more vibrant against the skin.
A thread that never feels wrong—just soft, day after day.
Processed according to the Filo di Scozia tradition, Mako loses any trace of roughness and acquires a luster.
Touch it and you immediately understand that it is not ordinary cotton. Wear it and you won't want to take it off.
We could have compromised. A cheaper fiber, a visually similar finish, lower production costs. But a sock that carries the Barocco Italiano name cannot be born from a compromise.
Mako is not a detail. It is the foundation of everything.
